The full Guiding and Nurturing parenting class is divided into 8 modules. Over the course of 8 sessions, we will meet for 2.5-hour sessions, where parents will have the opportunity to exchange ideas while receiving the tools needed to transform their parenting approach. The modules are sequential, so it is necessary to complete them in order to participate in the training.
The full training includes:
8 in-person sessions with a parent educator to discuss and ask questions
3 practical guides adaptable to all types of children (even the most oppositional!)
1 participant workbook with theory and practical exercises *
1 memory aid poster on “The 8 Psycho-Emotional Needs of Children”

Acceptances – How to accept the unacceptable without ignoring it, helping children grow despite their limitations

Encouraging Responsibility – How to involve children to help them take responsibility + Review & Conclusion
What You Will Learn
During this training, you will learn how to decode your children’s behavior and understand the real cause behind what is often labeled as inappropriate behavior. We will explore effective ways to intervene that are neither authoritarian nor permissive, but instead follow the Guiding and Nurturing approach.
You will learn how to:
âś… Respect yourself as a parent while respecting your child
âś… Become a responsible parent without guilt when setting boundaries
âś… Apply practical strategies immediately, thanks to relatable examples
The course is supported by a 294-page participant workbook, available for free in PDF format.
